Kikkoman Usukuchi Light Soy Sauce - 500ml
The Japanese answer to light soy sauce, not to be confused with Chinese light soy sauce. Usukuchi is lighter in color and saltier than regular Kikkoman soy sauce. The bright amber notes reflect a rich umami flavor. Primarily used in western Japan, particularly in the Kansai region (Kyoto / Osaka). Usukuchi is used to enhance dishes without darkening the ingredients. Ideal for seasoning steamed vegetables, udon, and broths, and for enhancing the flavor of light sauces.
