Soju, a very popular spirit sold in Korea, is a clear alcohol obtained from the distillation of rice and other grains. One of the current trending brands, Chum Churum is more popular due to the added water, which makes it easier to drink. Served chilled, it offers milky and anise notes. Its moderate alcohol content makes it pleasant as an aperitif, or served in a cocktail instead of gin or vodka.
