Unique blend of modified medium red wine and ume fruit juice
This umeshu has a sweet and balanced flavor. With its acidity it is an excellent combination with spicy dishes.
Umeshu is made by soaking unripe Japanese plums in alcohol and sugar to allow the flavors to infuse, some bottles even come with the whole plum still in! This type of alcohol has a sweet and sour taste and is great mixed with soda or drunk directly with ice.
This delicious drink is fantastic both as an aperitif and as a digestive.
• Drink straight, with ice or with champagne for a truly mouth-watering cocktail.
• Mix Ume Shu with lemonade or soda to make a ume sour.
• Add a splash of hot green tea to create a delicious winter warmth.
